Two 19-year-old residents of Kilinochchi died in a motor accident at the 247 km post along the A-9 road.
Police stated that the motorbike the persons were riding was out of control due to excessive speeding and collided onto a stationary bus.
The victims who sustained serious injuries succumbed following the admission to Kilinochchi hospital.
The bus driver has been arrested over the accident.
