A showery condition is expected to enhance in the northe , north-central and easte provinces of the island in the next few days (from the 17th). Several spells of showers will occur in Easte and Uva provinces and in Polonnaruwa, Matale and Hambantota districts.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in Weste and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the afte oon or night.
