No fuel shortage in Sri Lanka, rumors are false : Power & Energy Ministry

The Ministry of Power and Energy says there is NO truth to the rumors spread on a shortage of fuel in the country.

It adds, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has sufficient stocks of fuel in storage.

According to a statement by the Government Information Department, the general public need not have any fear about a fuel shortage, as the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation will continue to ensure fuel distribution across the country will take place uninterrupted.
