The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to reduce the Value Added Tax (VAT) from 15% to 8%, says Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
The first Cabinet meeting of the new government, chaired by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, took place at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (27).
