A haul of Kerala Cannabis weighing 39.84 kg have been recovered by a troop of Navy personnel attached to the North Central Naval Command during an emergency foot patrol carried out yesterday (10). The Cannabis were packed in four containers and hidden in a bush in between Urumalai and Talaimannar, stated SL Navy.
Navy suspects that this Kerala Cannabis was prepared for sale.
The recovered haul had been then handed over to Talaimannar Police for further investigation.
