An extraordinary gazette notification declaring the maximum wholesale and retail prices of white sugar is expected to be published tonight (10).
Accordingly, the maximum wholesale price of 1kg of white sugar will be Rs 80.00.
In the meantime, the revised maximum retail price of 1kg of bulk white sugar will be declared as Rs. 85.00 and packeted white sugar will be priced at Rs. 90 per kilogram.
