Zoos and national parks to reopen from June 15

All zoological gardens and national parks in the country will be re-opened from the 15th of June, stated Minister S. M. Chandrasena.

Previously, On March 14, the zoological gardens and national parks in Sri Lanka were shut down owing to the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

However, with the government’s actions to reopen the country in stages, the closed zoological gardens and national parks will be open for the public from June 15, said Chandrasena.
