Prevailing showery condition over the island is expected to be reduced from today, 20th of December.
Several spells of showers will occur in Northern, Eastern and Uva provinces and in Polonnaruwa and Matale districts.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at few places in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle, Matara, Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya districts after 2.00 p.m.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces in the morning.
