A 24-hour water cut has been imposed in several areas including Peliyagoda, Wattala and Mahara today (10), stated the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB).
The water cut will be in effect from 8.00 am today (10) until 8.00 am tomorrow (11).
Accordingly, the water supply for Peliyagoda, Wattala, Ja-Ela, Katunayake, Seeduwa, Kelaniya, Biyagama, Mahara, Dompe, and Gampaha Pradeshiya Sabha areas have been temporarily suspended.
This measure is being imposed owing to urgent maintenance work at Sapugaskanda Grid Substation, the NWSDB said further.
