Ven. Athuraliye Rathana Thero has made a statement that he will remain independent in the Parliament.
However, he will be supporting President Maithripala Sirisena, he stated.
He further says that he agrees with the President’s decision to appoint Mahinda Rajapaksa as the new Prime Minister.
