Two more COVID-19 patients recover

Two more COVID-19 positive patients have recovered from the disease, stated the Ministry of Health.

The patients have been discharged from the hospitals they had been receiving treatment from after complete recovery.

The two new cases raise the total number of recoveries reported in Sri Lanka to 29, said the Ministry.

In the meantime, the tally of coronavirus infections in the country climbed to 166 last night (04).

According to the Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 136 patients continue to be under medical care at the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH), Base Hospital in Welikanda and Colombo East Base Hospital.

Sri Lanka has so far recorded 5 deaths due to the deadly virus.
