The Ministry of Fisheries says that fishermen will be permitted to engage in fishing activities from 6 am to 6 pm today (March 24).
The ministry said that this decision was reached following discussions with the Sri Lanka Navy.
Those engaged in the fisheries sector also allowed to transport their catch to markets during curfew hours
