The syrup produced by Ayurvedic practitioner Dhammika Bandara, which he claims is a cure for COVID-19, was handed over to Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardene today at the Parliamentary complex.
The Speaker and several other government MPs were later seen taking a sip of the syrup.
