Student turnout retuning to normalcy – Education Ministry

The turnout of students at schools is gradually getting back to normalcy, says the Ministry of Education.

Students’ attendance has shown an increase today (09) in comparison to yesterday (08) and the day before (07), according to a scrutiny conducted by the ministry.

The ministry says that the attendance of students was also affected owing to the holidays given to Muslim schools for Ramadan fasting.

The report submitted by the Provincial Directors of Education on the attendance of students of Grade 6 and upwards, as well as the percentage in each province.
