Another person infected with Covid-19 has passed away as Sri Lanka’s death toll climbed to 41, the Director-General of Health Services confirmed.
The Department Government Information said the victim is a 48-year-old male residing in Ragama area.
According to reports, he died while at home and the post-mortem examination carried out at the Ragama Hospital has posthumously found him to be a novel coronavirus infected person.
Sri Lanka has registered 5 deaths from Covid-19 within the day.
