Ministry of Health states that the spread of diarrhoea and fungal diseases has become a concern due to the prevailing heavy rain.
Consultant of the Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health, Dr Samitha Geeganage highlighted that the public should prioritize hygienic habits in order to control the spread of such diseases.
