Special operation conducted in Colombo and Gampaha to arrest those who violate police curfew

466 people were arrested following an operation conducted in the Colombo and Gampaha districts, Police said.

245 vehicles were also seized.

A special operation was conducted in Colombo and Gampaha districts yesterday to apprehend those who violate curfew laws.

Meanwhile, a total of 53,547 people have been arrested for violating police curfew since it was imposed on the 20th of March.

Police have seized 14,333 vehicles during this time frame.
