SLTB launches special program due to train strike

The Sri Lanka Transport Board says that a special program will be implemented today to minimize hardships faced by commuters, affected by the railway strike.

SLTB Chairman Upali Marasinghe said that leave for all SLTB employees has been suspended to facilitate the program.

He said every effort will be made to assist the commuters, and noted that buses will be deployed to railway stations as well.
