Sri Lanka’s first potato strip (French Fries) processing factory, built in Kahattewela, Bandarawela, will be opened on Friday (11).
This factory has been built on the Kahattewela Sri Sangharaja Temple premises.
The factory, built under the financial assistance of the Small Scale Agricultural Entrepreneurship Programme (SAPP) of the Agriculture Ministry, is to be opened by Minister Mahinda Amaraweera.
