Showers or thundershowers will occur at several palces in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the evening or night.
Heavy showers above 100 mm can be expected at some places.
Few showers will occur in the coastal areas of Eastern and Northern provinces in the morning too.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the morning.
