Beginning direct flights between Seychelles and Sri Lanka, the maiden flight arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) from the State of Seychelles yesterday morning.
An Airbus A320 flight SEY-262 belonging to Air Seychelles Airlines arrived at the BIA at 04.00 am yesterday with 110 passengers and six crew members onboard. A special welcome ceremony was held at the airport terminal to welcome them.
From yesterday these Seychelles flights will arrive at the BIA at 04.00 am on Wednesdays and Sundays and depart for Seychelles at 07.30 am.
