All Prison Officers in Colombo will be subject to PCR tests, said the Department of Prisons on Wednesday (14) adding the tests will be conducted at the Prison Hospital.
Commissioner of Prisons Administration/Rehabilitation and Skill Development Chandana Ekanayake said PCR tests will be conducted on the Prison Officers from the Colombo Magazine Prison, Remand Prison, Welikada Prison, and those attached to Prison Headquarters on Wednesday (14).
He said every official will be provided with an opportunity to undergo the PCR test.
Commissioner of Prisons Administration/Rehabilitation and Skill Development Chandana Ekanayake, said necessary measures are in place to ensure the health security of inmates across all prisons in Sri Lanka.
