Two prison inmates have escaped while serving their sentences at the Badulla Thaldena Prison.
The duo were serving time for heroin trafficking. The suspects aged 19 and 37 are residents of Imbulgama and Mattakkuliya.
The Prison Department and the Badulla Police have commenced investigations to arrest the two escapees.
