The Police was able to arrest a total of 340 individuals who had warrants against them in the western province.
The raid which was conducted yesterday nabbed a total of 197 persons who had been evading the Police and Court. The raid was conducted by a team led by the Senior DIG in charge of the Western province, Deshabandu Tennakoon.
The arrested suspects are due to be produced before court today.
