The Inspector General of Police, Pujith Jayasundara says that the Sri Lanka Police is not obliged to surrender to the agenda of certain persons.
He points out that the police are functioning independently within the government of good governance.
The IGP expressed these views at a function held in Veyangoda, Gampaha.
