Parliament will convene from August 3 to 6

The Committee on Parliamentary Business chaired by the Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena has decided to convene Parliament for 4 days starting from August 3 until August 6.

Accordingly, Registration of Electors (Amendment) Bill, National Minimum Wage of Workers (Amendment) Bill, Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka Bill will be taken up for debate.

And the General Sir John Kotelawala National Defence University Bill will also be taken up for debate after further consideration by the Consultative Committee on Defence.
