Over 8000 undergoing self-quarantine: PHI Union

Over 8000 people are undergoing self-quarantine across the island, the Public Health Inspectors’ Union of Sri Lanka said.

According to the PHI Union, people are undergoing self-quarantine in 12 districts, since October 03rd following the detection of the Minuwangoda COVID-19 cluster.

Public Health Inspectors are continuously in the process of tracing back all 1st and 2nd contacts of the positive cases, Mahendra Balasuriya, the PHI Union Secretary told media on Saturday (Oct. 10).
