All long-distance buses operating from the Colombo Central Bus stand was suspended this evening until further notice, Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Chairman Kingsley Ranawaka said today.
He said the decision was taken considering current pandemic situation.
However, buses which are reserved for the transportation of G.C.E. Advanced Level students will operate as usual.
Meanwhile, Inter-Provincial Private Bus Association (IPPBA) President Sarath Vijitha Kumara also said no buses will operate from the Bastian Mawatha Private Bus Stand.
