One dead and thirty individuals have been injured in a motor accident on Trincomalee-Ambepussa road in Thambalagamuwa, Kantale.
Reportedly, the accident had occurred at around 4.45 this morning (06) when a Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) bus and a private bus had collided with each other.
The injured persons have been admitted to the Kantale Hospital and the condition of two of the injured are critical, stated the Hospital Police.
The conductor of the private bus has been killed in the incident.
Thambalagamuwa police are carrying out further investigations on the matter.
