The island-wide travel restriction will be lifted at 4am on Monday (June 21) and will be re-imposed at 10 pm on Wednesday (June 23), said the Head of National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak, Army Commander General Shavendra Silva.

The travel restriction will thereafter continue until 4 am on Friday (June 25)

Inter-province travel will remain banned during the enforcement and relaxing of the travel restriction.
