Navy disinfects Inter-Provincial Main Passenger Bus Terminal, Colombo Fort

In an attempt to arrest the spread of coronavirus among the public, Sri Lanka Navy (07th October 2020) carried out a disinfection programme at the Provincial Main Passenger Bus Terminal, Colombo Fort which is frequented by a large number of commuters on daily basis.

This sterilization effort was undertaken by the Navy’s Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Unit, following the directives of Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne. The Navy CBRN personnel ensured the entire premises of the Provincial Main Passenger Bus Terminal being disinfected in accordance with proper sterilization guidelines.

Meanwhile, the Navy is geared up by all means to engage in this nature of initiatives to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus within the country.
