Minister Bathiudeen’s Omani counterpart assures support for development in SL

Rishad Bathiudeen, Minister of Industry & Commerce, Resettlement of Protracted Displaced Persons, Co-operative Development and Vocational Training & Skills Development, has met with his Omani counterpart Minister Ali bin Masoud al Sunaidy.

Minister Bathiudeen, accompanied by a ministerial delegation, left for Muscat, Oman on 4th of May.

Minister Ali bin Masoud al Sunaidy has assured necessary assistance of the Omani government for the development of Sri Lanka.

Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade Malik Samarawickrema and Minister of Highways Kabir Hashim had also joined the Omani-Sri Lankan bilateral discussions, while Omani Minister of Oil and Gas Mohammed bin Hamad Al Rumhi and Chief Investment Officer at State General Reserve Fund Mulham bin Bashir Abdullah Al-Jarf joined the discussions on behalf of the Sultanate of Oman.
