Police suspect that the shooting in Jampettah Street, Colombo was a result of a dispute between two underworld gangs. Police said 4 special teams have been deployed to investigate the incident.
24-year-old Menon Suriyakantha died following a shooting that took place at Jampettah street last night (October 8). Police media spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara noted that the shooting had been carried out by an unidentified gunman on a motorbike.
