Government has taken steps to declare a three (3) day public holiday from today (17).
According to the Department of Government Information, this three day holiday will not apply to officials attached to essential services such as water, electricity & health as well as District & Divisional Secretariats.
Meanwhile Government requests private sector to also provide the three day special holiday.
