Former SIS Director’s phone to be taken into custody

The Presidential Commission of Inquiry investigating the Easter Sunday attacks has ordered its police unit to take custody of former SIS Director Nilantha Jayawardena’s personal mobile phone.

Former Director of the State Intelligence Service (SIS) has testified before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI) on multiple occasions with regard to bomb attacks on 21 April 2019.
