Former Trincomalee District Member of Parliament, Abdullah Mohamed Mahroof, and another arrested by CID for misusing Sathosa vehicles have been further remanded until the 30th of December (Wednesday).
The Criminal Investigations Department on 15th December arrested the Former Deputy Minister Abdullah Mohamed Mahroof and another identified as Farook Mohamed Aslam.
Charges have been leveled against the suspects for the misuse of vehicles belonging to Lanka Sathosa from 2015 to 2019.
