Former Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Hector Dharmasiri has been sentenced to 3-year imprisonment over bribery charges, says our news reporter.
The Colombo Chief Magistrate has delivered the order today (02).
The former DIG was also imposed a fine of Rs 300,000 by the court.
