Police Media Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara noted that a group of CID officials arrested Former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando, who was earlier admitted to the National Hospital.
Former Defense Secretary Hemasiri Fernando failed to appear before the CID today after being admitted to the Cardiology Unit of the Colombo National Hospital this morning. He was summoned before the CID to record statements regarding the April 21st terror attacks.
