DIG Waruna Jayasundara has been appointed as the new Commandant of the Police Special Task Force (STF), the Police Media Division said in a statement on Wednesday (10)
The former STF head DIG Lionel Gunathilaka has been appointed DIG in charge of the Trincomalee District, the Police Headquarters said.
Four more DIGs have been transferred and new appointments have been made following the approval of the Police Commission.
