The Health Ministry stated that spreading of dengue in the districts of Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara, Ratnapura and Galle has escalated due to the rainy season.
Community Specialist at the National Dengue Eradication Unit, Dr Prashila Samaraweera noted that a three-day operation to annihilate dengue in the five districts is to launch tomorrow (June 11).
