Rear Admiral D.K.P. Dassanayake was issued summons to appear at the Presidential Commission appointed to probe public sector political victimization, in relation to a complaint he filed citing a case was filed against him at the Permanent High Court Trial-at-Bar based on false and fabricated evidence.
Previously, he appeared at the commission on the 14th of February to provide evidence on the complaint he filed. A source at the Presidential Commission said statements were recorded from 06 people thus far, on a number of complaints received.
The Presidential Commission appointed to probe public sector political victimization has received a total of 539 complaints.
