The total number of recoveries from COVID-19 in the country surpasses 40,000 mark as per the Epidemiology Unit’s tally. It is at 40,317 and there are only 6,241 active cases being treated in various hospitals across the country.
The total count of positive coronavirus cases found in Sri Lanka currently sits at 46,780.
