Committee on Public Finance submits reports on 838 Government Institutions to Parliament

The Chair of the Committee on Public Finance Parliamentarian Lasantha Alagiyawanna today (June 21) presented the reports pertaining to 838 government institutions, in relation to the Financial Year of 2017.

He noted according to the reports there is a growth of 25% across all government institutions.

The MP went on to note as per the recommendations made by the Committee of Public Finance, the respective subject ministers must present facts in Parliament for their institutions before the end of two months, as per the new standing orders.
