Cabinet approval has been granted to import another 2500 dairy heifers from Australia.
The decision was announced at the cabinet media briefing this morning.
Cabinet approval has also been given to provide a dry ration pack to school children.
Meanwhile, Cabinet of Ministers approved the gazette presented by Finance Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa on import restrictions taking into account the foreign exchange issue.
