“Budu Puth Mapiya Suraksha” : Housing project for homeless parents of monks

The Department of Buddhist Affairs has decided to commence a project to construct houses for the parents of the monks who do not have houses. Commissioner-General of the Department, Sunanda Kariyapperuma says that the project has been named as “Buduputh Mapiya Suraksha.”

He further said that the project is due to commence from the Monaragala district on the 22nd of this month will be implemented islandwide.
