The Government has decided to appoint 1650 Grama Niladaris covering all the districts in the country.
The presentation of Letters of Appointment to these officers will take place tomorrow at Temple Trees under the patronage of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Minister of Home Affairs Wajira Abeywardhana and Deputy Minister J.C. Alawathuwala will also participate on this occasion.
