Accepting of applications for postal voting for the upcoming election, has begun.
The National Elections Commission noted that they would continue to accept applications till next week. Chairman of the Commission Mahinda Deshapriya is due to conduct a special meeting tomorrow with the Deputy Elections Commissioners on Friday (August 23). The discussions will focus on preparations for the upcoming elections.
