Another flight leaves to repatriate more students from UK

Another special charter flight of the SriLankan Airlines has left to the Heathrow Airport in London today (05) to repatriate Sri Lankan students stuck in the United Kingdom.

The flight UL 503 operated by a limited number of airline crew personnel left Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) at around 12.15 am this morning.

The flight is scheduled to return with another batch of students, early tomorrow morning (06).

The first batch of Sri Lankan students in the UK was repatriated on May 03.

In addition, another SriLankan Airlines flight bound for London arrived at the BIA early this morning with a consignment of cargo, siyatha news reporter said.
