The ‘Jana Mahimaya’ rally organized by the United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) is scheduled to be held this afternoon (05).
MP Udaya Gammanpila stated that this rally is held to show support to the newly formed government.
Meanwhile, nearly 1500 officers of the police and the Special Task Force (STF) have been deployed for the security of the rally, stated Police Media Spokesperson Ruwan Gunasekara.
Additionally, there will also be a special traffic plan in place for areas surrounding the parliament after 12 noon.
