Attorney General Dappula de Livera, after considering investigative materials submitted by the CID, has directed the CID to obtain an arrest warrant for former CEO of SriLankan airlines Kapila Chandrasena and his wife Priyanka Niyomali Wijenayaka.
The AG had called on the CID Director to arrest the suspects and produce them before court, on charges of money laundering in relation to the SriLankan airlines – Airbus deal.
